Firstly, you need to sign up with CodeGuard on their website. Under their free trail period for first 14 days, you can backup one website with 1 GB of space. The process is quite simple, after signing up you can click on “Add WordPress Website” on Main Dashboard screen. Enter the website URL. On the next screen, it will ask you to download and install the CodeGuard plugin zip file on your WordPress Dashboard. You can upload it by clicking “Add new” on Plugin page. Click next and it will provide you the Unique Access Key. Copy and paste it in the CodeGuard plugin page on WordPress Dashboard. Come back to CodeGuard website and click on “Test Access Key” and it will activate the plugin. Once thats done, CodeGuard will automatically backup your website and database in every 24 hours. You can also click on “Create Backup” to manually backup your website and database.

It would be awesome if all of us could have unique passwords like “kh30.e”79JK039;/;&&;“, but let’s face it, those are really hard to remember! So what else can be done? Just remember that long passwords are still always the best way to go. If it is easier to remember words, then try picking four random words out of your head and stringing them together. An example could be, “billiards hippie pineapple juice.” They are four random words that are strung together, making a really long password (29 characters long!) but it is also much easier to remember. These are called passphrases, and to make a passphrase even more secure you could try capitalizing some of the words or entering some numbers at the beginning or end.
