I have done all the connections and it all seemed to work fine in the setup phase, however now since i have posted several articles to my blog, i cannot find any content on LinkedIn . Any clues to help – cheers
The WP to LinkedIn Auto Publish lets you publish posts automatically from your blog to LinkedIn. You can publish your posts to LinkedIn as simple text message or as text message with attached image. The plugin supports filtering posts based on custom post-types as well as categories.
The plugin is simple, lightweight and free. It does have a couple of options which includes choosing who you want to share your LinkedIn posts with and whether you want to enable simple text-based sharing or more advanced sharing where you can tell LinkedIn to use your posts feature image. You can also setup a default share message format using time saving dynamic shortcodes for all your posts which you can over-ride on the post meta box settings. You can also filter items to be published based on categories selected on the plugin settings page. You can choose whether you want to share posts, custom posts and pages. You can select the default profile and/or companies you want to share with as well.
3 Easy Ways to Integrate WordPress with LinkedIn
WordPress and LinkedIn aren’t exactly two peas in a pod, but with a little creativity you can make them work well together. For example, embedding your LinkedIn profile on your portfolio site can make it look more professional, which may lead to more business. Or you could automatically display critical updates from LinkedIn on your company website, keeping your partners, clients, and customers up-to-date.
How to Automatically Publish from WordPress to LinkedIn
Whether you are actively engaged on LinkedIn, there’s a good chance you have a profile on there. There’s also a good chance that you’re not taking advantage of the social network as well as you could. (Most people don’t, myself included. So don’t feel bad.) LinkedIn can be a huge traffic driver, though, not to mention a career maker. If you can get the right content in front of the right person’s eyes, you never know what might happen. And since you’re already creating fantastic content, why not post it directly from WordPress to LinkedIn?
